1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using BabyLog, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use BabyLog.
2. Who May Use BabyLog
BabyLog is intended for adults who are parents, guardians, or caregivers. You must be able to form a binding agreement under the laws that apply to you. Children may not create accounts or use BabyLog directly.
3. What BabyLog Does
BabyLog helps parents and caregivers track baby care activities, such as feeding, nursing sessions, diapers, sleep, wake-ups, notes, family collaboration, reminders, and related insights. Some features use voice transcription or AI-assisted parsing to convert spoken updates into structured logs.
4. Not Medical Advice
BabyLog is provided for personal organization and caregiver coordination. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, nursing, diagnostic, treatment, or emergency advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical questions or concerns. In an emergency, contact emergency services immediately.
5. Your Account and Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information that you choose to enter in BabyLog.
- Keeping your login credentials secure.
- Controlling which caregivers you invite or authorize.
- Reviewing the information that you share with family members and caregivers.
- Using BabyLog only for lawful purposes.
- Reviewing and correcting AI-assisted or voice-parsed activity records.
6. Voice Logging and AI Features
Voice logging and AI-assisted features may produce imperfect recordings, transcripts, interpretations, or activity records. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting entries before relying on them. Do not use an automatically generated entry as a substitute for professional medical advice or judgment.
Before voice data is sent to OpenAI, BabyLog presents a separate disclosure naming OpenAI, describing the data and purpose, and asking for your express permission. Only after you choose Allow does BabyLog record, transmit, process, and store the audio, transcript, and structured activity information as needed to provide the feature and as described in the Privacy Policy. Voice recordings stored by BabyLog are generally retained for up to 30 days; transcripts and activity records may remain until deleted.
7. Family and Caregiver Sharing
BabyLog allows you to invite parents, guardians, relatives, and caregivers to share a baby profile. You are responsible for inviting only people you trust and for reviewing their access. Authorized family members may be able to view shared baby profiles, activity records, transcripts, and available voice-note playback. You may remove access where the app provides that control.
8. Subscriptions and Purchases
BabyLog may offer free and paid features. The current paid options are BabyLog Plus at $4.99 per month and Lifetime access for a one-time purchase of $49.99. Prices may vary by country, currency, taxes, or store configuration, and the price shown at the time of purchase controls the transaction.
Paid features may be purchased through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or another authorized billing provider. Subscription management, cancellation, renewal, and refunds are generally handled by the store or billing provider through which you purchased. Your purchase may be subject to that provider's terms and policies. We may use RevenueCat or a similar purchase-management service to verify entitlements and provide paid access.
9. App Store Terms
Your use of BabyLog may also be subject to rules and terms from the app store where you downloaded it. If you downloaded BabyLog from the Apple App Store and we have not provided a separate custom end-user license agreement in App Store Connect, Apple's standard licensed application end-user license agreement may apply to the app license. These Terms govern your use of BabyLog's services and features in addition to any applicable app-store terms.
10. License to Use BabyLog
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use BabyLog for your own personal or household baby-care tracking. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, sell, lease, sublicense, or misuse BabyLog except where allowed by law.
11. Your Content
You retain ownership of information you enter into BabyLog. You grant us the rights needed to host, process, transmit, display, and otherwise use that information to provide BabyLog and its features, as described in these Terms and the Privacy Policy. This includes processing voice recordings and related information through service providers that support transcription, AI parsing, storage, authentication, synchronization, and subscription management.
12. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- Use BabyLog for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive purposes.
- Attempt to access accounts, data, systems, or networks without authorization.
- Interfere with BabyLog's security, availability, or operation.
- Upload malware or content that infringes another person's rights.
- Use BabyLog to make medical decisions without professional guidance.
- Invite or expose another person's information to a caregiver without appropriate authorization.
13. Availability and Changes
BabyLog may change over time. We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We do not guarantee that BabyLog will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every device or operating system. Offline features may be limited, and queued data may require an internet connection to synchronize.
14. Disclaimers
BabyLog is provided "as is" and "as available" to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, and availability.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NGL AI Ventures LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from or related to your use of BabyLog.
16. Account Deletion and Termination
You may stop using BabyLog or delete your account at any time through the in-app account deletion flow. Account deletion permanently removes your account and your access to shared family data. Baby profiles and associated records owned by you may be deleted; when a baby is shared with other family members, the profile and related records may be preserved or transferred so the shared family service can continue. Limited information may also be retained where required by law or reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or enforcement of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for BabyLog or other users, or if we discontinue the service. Termination does not necessarily entitle you to a refund; refund requests are generally handled by the applicable app store or billing provider.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state or jurisdiction in which NGL AI Ventures LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable law gives you rights that cannot be waived. Any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your place of residence remain unaffected.
18. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice in the app or by other reasonable means. Continued use of BabyLog after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
